| I PAESAGGI DELL'ANIMA In these paintings, the parallel frameworks, that define a composition seeking to order chaos, are visible. This artist aknowledges the sensuality of the mountains untouched by man and transforms the voluptousness of the earth and plantlife in very well defined aesthetical bodies. Audacious, even her signature is curved like these mountains, that appear to be italian, but belong to Brazil. Ranging from a continent to the other, separated by the Atlantic Ocean, this determined Italian, portrays millennia of cultural information belonging to two separate worlds: the european velvet and marble mingles with the informal joy and tropical fruits. In the actual works of Serena, cubism, realism and expressionism are present. In these canvases, spatulated with vigor and delicacy, what seems to be the atavic and ancestral bay of Naples, it is nothing less than the paulist coast, enjoying both sea and sun. The colors of Serena are tropical and harmonized with the italian. In this case, a praise of the sober, balancing the final result of a fully dignified painting , sum of discipline and beauty, is worth mentioning as a mature work for her first individual display. I am proud to be her popularizer. I enjoy these landscapes of earth and the spiritual proximities that only artists are able to transform in Art. Sao Paulo, Brasil 28/9/1992 - Onley Crüse member of the Brazilian Critics Association of Art Roma (Ages) - At the Cultural Center of Artists (Centro Culturale degli Artisti), the paintings of Serena Bisi are meeting great success. She suggests "a synthesis and a ripening search for and after years of introspective, analitic and courageous work." In the presentation Alessia Bisantis writes: "Approaching Serena Bisi's paintings means immersing into and embracing the infinite space of our soul, to search our innerness, plunging into silent landscapes, lunar deserts, that bear the silent cry that everyone of us has in his protected heart. This painter not too silently suggests us, that nature breaks through the sky becoming one with light and solarity, burstingly reminding that Nature is Alive and touches us only if man respects it..." I add: " Her wood with the dense yellow, iridescent for joy of the eyes, with the air that seems to enter the soul, fresh and pure, is the synthesis of a perfect Light, silent on the infinite canvas".
